  • A Life of Purpose

    A Life of Purpose

A woman was walking through the parking lot at Kroger the other day when she looked down and saw a man's wallet lying on the ground.

    She picked it up.
    Found some identification.
Then called the man and told him she had found his wallet.

Overjoyed, he met her at a coffee shop to get the wallet back, and tried to hand her $20 for her efforts.

But she refused and said, "I've already received my reward by finding you and giving you your wallet back. I'm just happy to help you."

Impressed, the man took the $20 and put it in the coffee shop tip jar, just so he could feel like she did - and like we do when we put people before stuff.

How is God calling you to put people before stuff today?
  • God Will Provide!

    God Will Provide!

Are you discouraged because you didn't get the promotion?
    Got outbid on the house?
Got stuck working when everyone else is playing?

The important thing to keep in mind is that God knows this!
There is no injustice or trial you are going through that God is unaware of!

When Israel was enslaved by Egypt, the Bible says God heard the cries of the suffering and God sent a savior, Moses whose story we'll hear in church on Sunday.

And just the same, God hears you,
    Your unhappiness grief, and pain.

So you have 2 options ahead: your new job, house, or desire will come to pass - or God will give you the strength to make it through.

Either way, God is with you!
Do your best not to be consumed by discouragement
    Rest in Jesus,
    Think Godly thoughts
He will provide, he sees you, and is there to help.
  • You Are Chosen!

    You Are Chosen!

When my friend the millionaire came over for dinner, she was dressed in a t-shirt and ripped jeans.

My 7-year-old said, "You don't look like a millionaire!"
She said, "I don't have to look like a millionaire, I am a millionaire!"

Many times you and I don't look or feel like the people we are!

God says we are chosen, we are blessed, we are the apple of God's eye!
We are provided for, taken care of, and have nothing to worry about!

Don't believe the lies that you are anything less than royalty!
You play a unique and invaluable role in God's plan for the universe and are destined for greatness in God's eyes!

We don't know the truth, God knows the truth, and God says you are chosen and blessed!
  • Let It Go!

    Let It Go!

    Let it go!

Holding onto grudges and giving more attention to revenge than moving on is foolish.

Confucius said when you embark on a mission of vengeance first dig two graves!

    Here's Sunday's message
